Urea Crystal Effect granules by the pound to make your own diy clear crystal effect solution .  You can use any colors you want, do a test panel.  Vids on youtube how to use and mix it etc.

Mix 1:1 by volume roughly with hot / warm water and a few drops of wetting agent / dawn / , Finish jet dry   .   Spread over project. Let dry .   Spray next color over crystals, let dry, water scrub off some of the top layer , then art candy or clearcoat.   Great for backgrounds.    Super cool effect.    Mix your own and save a TON of money.    Always do a test panel or two before doing your project.   This takes a little practice.  But not that hard.  You can premix the solution and store it in a jar etc for later also.   All the premade crystal effect paint you buy is made with this.
